STRETCH WORKSHOP - Saturday May 31st

This is one day workshop learning how to use stretch fabrics and making a t- shirt or sweatshirt for summer!
You may have completed an Absolute Beginners class and want to make your first garment, or have made multiple garments before but never tackled stretch fabrics.
You can pick from the following patterns:
You can choose between the following patterns (you will receive a physical copy of the pattern):
In this one day class, you will learn:
- How to prepare your stretch fabric
- Stretch fabric qualities - grain/stretch %’s
- How to cut a pattern stretch fabric
- How to sew stretch fabric using a domestic machine/different needle options
- Inserting a stretch neckline
- Stretch sleeve cuffs
All patterns are constructed in the same way, but slightly vary in details:

The class is 7 hours long including a lunch break. You will receive an email explaining what type of fabric you will need to purchase (and pre wash!) and how much. The session includes use of the sewing machine, all equipment and materials you need and cups of tea/coffee and biscuits. You are welcome to bring lunch and store in the kitchen or pop out to the high street!
