EMBROIDERY EVENINGS - Monday 3rd & 10th Feb
MONDAY EVENINGs - THE OLD POST OFFICE, STIRCHLEY, B30 2JH - 6.00pm - 9.00pm
3rd & 10th February
2 week short course covering a range of stitches that will enable you to leave and complete your own embroidery!
Everything is provided. You will receive an embroidery hoop, a selection of embroidery threads and needles along with guided tutorials and print outs to take home to practice.
During week 1, you will learn the following stitches:
Running stitch
Back stitch
Chain stitch
Split stitch
French knots
Straight stitch
Cross stitch
Turkey stitch
In week 2, you can start a simple hoop design to take home and display.
You do not need to have any experience in embroidery. Come solo and meet others, or bring friends. Tea, coffee, hot drinks and biscuits are all included.
