NEVER touched a sewing machine or completely forgotten how? This is the course for you.

This course is aimed at absolute beginners who have either never sewn or have forgotten how to and need a confidence boost! We will cover all the basics enabling you to leave with a handmade cushion cover and tote bag. In addition to this, you will take home a stitch portfolio of your sewn samples that can be used to help you with future projects.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
During this 4 week beginners course you will:
- Learn how to use a sewing machine, thread it up and wind a bobbin.
- Be shown how to complete your own stitch samples of different types of seams and techniques.
- Fill in a stitch portfolio with your sewn samples and information on how to do/where this would be found/uses.
- Cut out and make a cushion cover and tote bag using your newly developed skills!

You do not need to bring anything with you. Each session is 2.5 hours and includes use of the sewing machine, all equipment and materials you need and a cup of tea and biscuits.

If you prefer to use your own fabric for your projects you are welcome to discuss with Charlotte before purchasing so you know what type of fabric to buy and how much.
